If you have been to Starbucks lately,  you might notice there is a new coffee flavor they are promoting call BLOND. A light roasted and flavor coffee. I am not a coffee expert, I can’t tell the difference.  But, I can tell by looking at the Blond coffee bean to the dark roasted one that they look very different. You can see the difference from the picture below. What I don’t quite understand is why it is called Blond when the coffee bean or brewed coffee is actually brown in color. Maybe light brown, but still… far from being blond.

So now I’m confused, if a client comes in the salon and ask for blond hair color, should I now color all my blond clients’ hair brown? Is brown the new blond?

Ok! I am just kidding.

The truth is multi-million dollar companies like Starbucks comes up with these campaigns like BLOND coffee proof one thing. BLOND gets people’s attention. Blond is away in and blond for sure has more fun. This is the reason why for me doing hair in America versus in other countries like Asia…etc. There are a lot more opportunities as a hair professional to work with different texture and color hair.

Be honest with you, I still have not have a BLOND coffee yet. Every time I tried to order it’s not available in as ice coffee or it is sold out. Maybe, BLOND coffee is only for blonds
